Aaron Thompson 6'3" 180lbs Saint Johns HS (Toledo, OH) - Camp MVP
Aaron was by far the best player/athlete in camp 2319. He displayed a top tier work ethic during every drill. Has great length and uses it well by playing the passing lanes and being disruptive on defense. He reminded me of a Doug Christie type player. Great defender, finished above the rim in traffic and consistently made an array of shots with either hand. This kid is a diamond in the rough player and has the tools to be a Division 1 player.

Noah Erxleben 6'2" Sophomore Harbor Springs HS
Has a great motor with good leadership qualities. Tough nose player due to his football pedigree. Made shots around the basket during scrimmages. More of a defensive stopper if he chooses to play college basketball.

Casey Hammar 5'9" Junior Airport HS
Won the three point contest at camp. Was the best volume shooter during drills all weekend. Possess a fluid jump shot with above average trajectory. A decent ball handler that must continue to work on his quickness to free himself up so he can use his deadly jump shot.

Taylor Brown 5'8" Sophomore Carrollton HS (Atlanta, GA)
Great instincts for the game, Taylor continued to find the ball during scrimmages with her great hustle. Numerous times she wrestled the ball away from people for put back layups. She dove on the floor for loose balls more than any kid at camp. Good left hand shot from 13-15 feet and now she's making the transition to playing point guard for her high school team. She has the heart for it.

Connor Glen Willis 5'8" Senior Erie Mason HS
Heart over size fits Connor perfectly. He's been overlooked his whole career because of his size. After watching him workout, his height was the last thing I saw. I saw his quick release, good foot work, and his ability to create space to score against bigger defenders.

Bryce Lott 6'2" Davison HS
This kid came to camp with his hard hat on. Strong hands, good motor and a nice touch from 10-15 feet. Quiet kid that just gets the job done. Lead by example all camp. The type of kid all coaches would love to have because he's a blue collar talent.

Carson McLaughlin 5'5" Freshman Davison HS
Small in size but he made up for his size with a really good jump shot. He hit some big shots in scrimmages for his team. Did a good job of keeping guys in front of him on defense with good hand speed. Future looks bright for Carson. Remember his name.

Noah Schon 6'2" Sophomore East Lansing HS
Noah was one of my personal favorites at camp. Displayed a passion for the game that was infectious to his teammates. Showed that he could play multiple positions on the court. Rebounded well, ran the floor, fantastic free throw shooter, and great range on his jumper. A division 2 or 3 talent. Could help a team.

Nate Sesti 5'4" 8th Grade Clarkston JH
Nate added a good spark in camp each day with his great work ethic. He was the first kid on the floor each morning before camp started. Has a good release point on his jump shot. Has a chance to be a good combo guard in high school with his good mechanics and work ethic.

Cameron Sutton 5'4" 8th Grade Oakview JH
Cameron shot the lights out all weekend while making some nice drives to the basket, finishing over bigger defenders. Has a knack for finding the basket no matter the situation.

Justin Fischer 6'1" Sophomore De La Salle HS
One word to define Justin is "winner"! This kid plays every possession to win. Does all the intangibles good. He defends well, has active hands and has good timing. Plays with a high basketball IQ. Always looking to make the right basketball play. A pass first PG that has a quiet toughness about his craft. Justin has a chance to post triple doubles by his senior season with his do-it-all style. A college coach will get a steal in two years with this kid.

Tim Steward 5'7" Sophomore Detroit Edison HS
Tim has one of the quickest first steps of any kid I've seen. Tim used his speed to get around defenders all camp. A great on the ball defender who loves to play defense. Tim is at his best in the open court when defenders are back peddling, then he uses his lightning speed to finish at the basket. Offensively he's still learning how to adjust his speed to conduct his team. In a few years he'll be regarded as one of the best PG's in the city. A college bound PG in the making.

Max Anderson 5'6" Sophomore Clarkston HS
Max has the toughness of a boxer. He played all camp with his heart on his sleeve. Shot the ball extremely well all camp. Good technique, great rotation on his ball after the release. Will be a great compliment to All State guard Foster Loyer in the years to come. Max possesses the heart and will to compete.

Jacob Brantley 5'11" 180lbs Sophomore Troy Athens HS
Jacob plays with a physicality at his age that is unmatched. Uses his powerful frame to man-handle smaller guards. Has good speed in the open court with above average vision, always looking to make the right play. Moves his feet really well on defense and has good hands when playing the ball. A good point guard that has shown great improvement in running a team and being a vocal leader. Must continue to work on his outside shooting and once that is consistent, you are looking at a Division 1 PG in the future.

Justin Koch 6'4" Junior Troy Athens HS
Great touch around the basket, does all the little things great. Runs the floor extremely well, there were numerous times that Justin would outrun his defender for layups. Underrated ball handler who was the consummate teammate. Tweener type player but has the tools to play college ball in the future. He also scored a 30 on his ACT which makes him college ready.

Charles "Chuck" Dunn 5'7" 8th grade Clarkston MS
When you look at Chuck he doesn't pass the basketball eye test, but once you allow him to play you'll see his unorthodox style of play is very effective. Chuck is one of those kids that has a nose for the ball and is always finding a way to carve his niche no matter who his teammates are. Chuck finished in the top 4 in every drill competition from free throws, three pointers, knockout and others. Very efficient when he plays, a blue collar kid with a lovable personality. In my previous  "Overnight Camp" Chuck won the game of knockout out against 35 other kids. A high caliber kid that I personally would make room for on my roster any day.

Rashad Williams 6'2" Sophomore Romulus HS
Rashad lead camp 2319 in scoring and he did it in a multitude of ways. Has a great feel for the game, knows how to use his body well when initiating contact. Has a great pull up jump shot while getting his defenders off balance with his smooth handle. Rashad plays with a risk taker mentality he's not afraid to make mistakes and he doesn't shy away from taking the big shot. With all that being said, it is those good intangibles that will prepare him to contribute at the college level. Rashad is a division 1 combo guard with potential of being one of the states best by his senior campaign. If he reaches his ceiling you might turn on the TV in the future and see Rashad delivering on the big stage.

Yante Maten 6'9" Senior Bloomfeid Hills Andover HS
After watching Yante a few times now I've come to the conclusion that he is a natural big man that will have a bright future at the next level. As a kid I grew up watching Chris Webber and Yante reminds me of him, with his great hands, feel for the game and his ability to score on either block. Which ever school gets Yante in college will be getting a less aggressive type of Chris Webber, but still highly skilled and should produce double digit points and rebounds. I'm excited to see his progression going forward.
